Two part epoxy is safe to use for mounting a magnet onto a disc or H3. On a disc the magnet can be glued onto any part of the disc side.
For an H3, the preferred mount location is just inside the valve hole cutout, right at the edge of the spoke face. Mounting the magnet here keeps it out of the wind and it is less likely to get knocked off during travel. We stock small powerful rare earth magnets that work well for this application.
It is also acceptable to glue a magnet elsewhere on the spoke face.
