Stinger 90

Used as a rear wheel or as a condition specific front wheel, the Stinger 90 is made for ripping time trials. Bladder molded with our patented torodial rim shape, the Stinger 90 is aero and lightweight. Compared to a flat sided wheel, the toroidal shape keeps airflow more laminar and reduces the turbulent area behind the wheel. Designed with a high surface area, low weight and minimal drag, the Stinger 90 is a very fast wheel.

The Stinger 90 is built with sonic hubs, bladed 6/4 ti spokes front, and bladed steel spokes rear. 700c only.

The 2006 Stinger 90 is designed to be most aero with a 22mm tire. A 19mm tire will not be as fast, and will not
adhere to the rim as well as a 21-23mm tire. Hed strongly recommends carbon-compound brake pads for use with all Stinger wheels.
