The HED Exclusive Jet RC5 lineup delivers speed and performance in a can't-go-wrong 50mm depth. Like all our wheels, we fabricate the carbon, build the rims, and true the wheels here in our Minnesota factory,
The RC5 rim has a lightweight carbon aero section to cut through the wind and make you faster. The alloy rim section features a 21mm internal width that can be run tubeless or tubed.
The hybrid carbon/alloy rim design offers incredible aerodynamics while maintaining a reasonable weight, with outstanding durability and reliable performance. 5-year warranty. For optimal aero performance we recommend 25c-28c tire sizes on these wheels. Tubeless tape and valve extenders included.
1. For all types of bicycle wheels, a hard strike on the rim is likely to result in rim damage. At the point of impact, an aluminum rim will dent, and a carbon rim may delaminate – both are unsafe conditions that require rim replacement.
2. Tire pressure = 80psi MAX
3. We do NOT recommend hanging a bike equipped with Jet wheels from hooks – this can damage the carbon skin and will not be covered under warranty.
