Whether shop-bound or headed straight to the consumer (“you”), HED wheels and products are constructed or assembled by hand in our factory in Minnesota. Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks from the purchase date for the completion and shipping of your wheel order. If an order will take longer, we will let you know as soon as possible. Lead times may vary outside of this range due to factors such as the number of pieces ordered, holidays, production delays, etc. If any revisions and/or additions have been made to your order, please allow 5-7 days from the date the revisions/additions took place.
Delays in production and shipping, though rare, may occur. If an order will take longer than expected we will let you know as soon as possible.
HED Cycling Products takes great care to ensure that every item meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Please keep in mind that we work through multiple processes to fabricate and build our wheels. We stand behind the quality of everything we sell, and your satisfaction with our products is of the utmost importance to us. If an order does not live up to our standards, we occasionally have to remake an ordered item. We will make all efforts to quote accurate lead times and notify all our customers promptly if changes happen. Under no circumstances will HED Cycling products be responsible for any consequential damages resulting in order completion or shipping.
If you want to return a product for any reason i.e. it’s not what you wanted, or you have changed your mind, we are happy to accept unused products back for an exchange or refund at your expense within 7 days of receipt. This offer applies to all stock wheels and parts.
We offer no refund on special order wheels.
When making a return, all wheels and parts must be in as new condition and in any original packaging.
All wheels or parts are returned at the customers expense. Loss or damage that occurs during return shipping is the responsibility of the consumer or their chosen shipping carrier. recommend you use a secure delivery service method which requires a signature upon receipt and which insures you for the cost of the items being returned, as in the rare event of the parcel going missing you are responsible for the products until they reach us. We will only take responsibility on receipt of the goods and not while in transport.
If you return wheels or parts to us 8 – 30 days after you initially received them then we have a 20% re-stocking fee. Again, we only take responsibility on receipt of the goods and not while in transport back to us. Within this 8 – 30 day time frame we would still happily give a 100% credit against another HED product.
After 30 days we do not accept any return of goods.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
- Contact us first, either by email, phone, or through our Contact Form.
- Pack your item, as well as the returns form and send back to us via a tracked, insured courier service.
- Once we receive your goods, we will process your return.
